"La Bomba" is a 2000 latin / pop song recorded by Argentine singer King Africa as a single from the eponymous album.
It was originally written and recorded by Bolivian band Azul Azul and later covered by King Africa.
This cover version was first released in 2000 in many countries worldwide, then re-issued in 2001 (including Switzerland), then re-re-issued in 2003 in France. It achieved success, becoming a top ten hit in France, Switzerland, Belgium (Flanders) and Italy. The megamix available on the 12" maxi includes "Mama Yo Quiero", "Ciudad Maravillosa", "El Camaleon", "Bailando Pump It Up", "Salta" and "Toda España Esta Bailando". In France, "La Bomba" is the 807th best-selling singles of all time.[7]
